Lights! Camera! Action!

So I've thought on and off about creating my own blog.  The final nudge came in a rather unexpected way.  I was trying to leave a comment on a friend's blog, but unless I signed in, it was going to list the author as "Unknown."  Not cool.  And the only way I could figure out to make Google happy was to create my own blogger account.  And if I'm going to have an account, I might as well have a blog to go with it.

But then I had to figure out what kind of blog to have.  It wasn't too hard to come up with the idea for ISFS Reviews.  What is ISFS you ask?  Well, it stands for Initiare Sapienter Finis Sincere, which means "Begin Wisely, End Sincerely" in very poor Latin (I came up with it long before I took Latin at Brigham Young University).  It's my motto and the name of my production company.

For those who don't know, or don't remember, I was a Media Arts major at BYU.  I have always loved movies.  So this blog is dedicated to that love.  The rough plan is to review and analyze movies.  It will probably be a mix of my favorite movies and new releases I see in theaters.  Who knows, I may even sneak in a book review at some point.  At present there is a dearth of movies I want to see in theaters.  But I've got 9 movies on my to see list in November and December.  Until then, I've got a few movies in mind that I'd like to take my "pen" to.  Until then ...
